We didn't venture far north into Canada; we spent our entire stay in the much more densely populated south of this beautiful country. As in several capital cities on our trip, we also visited the German embassy here. Our friend Chloé, whom we met in Malaysia, recommended the national dish, poutine, and what can we say? We loved it immediately! Besides sightseeing and getting used to the French language, we also spent more time outdoors after a long time: mini-golf with Chloé, trips to nearby lakes, and a visit to a wildlife park where we could admire all the native animals. We were so captivated by nature that we spontaneously decided to rent a car to spend a few days exploring the countryside. The result: once again, we met some incredibly nice people and were invited for a spin on Lake Poisson Blanc.
