About us as speakers
We are Alex and Lovis, the interabled duo behind "Hurdle the World." Our shared journey has not only taken us far geographically, but has also strengthened us through our personal experiences. With our keynotes and talks, we share inspiring stories that encourage people to overcome barriers – whether in their minds or in society.
We have a dream, that one day inclusion will be the standard but not the exception inside every society world wide.
Our mission
As an interabled duo, we unite two perspectives that are rarely found together on stage. Our goal is to show people how enriching diversity can be. For us, and for everyone else, inclusion in action is a win-win situation!
Our topics
Inclusion:
How can we break down barriers and create a society where everyone belongs? We share our experiences gained on our travels and draw on a wealth of in-depth expertise.
Diversity:
Why differences are our strength and how they can be used. As in a interabled friendship, we live exactly what we wish for everyone: as normal as possible, as supportive as necessary. We believe that diversity is a win-win situation!
Living with a disability:
Honest insights into our everyday lives and the challenges we overcome. Topics such as self-employment, neurodivergence, and resilience in the face of a society riddled with obstacles for people living outside the "norm".
